Frequently Asked Questions
--Why do you charge so little?
A: Reason One: Digital Photography
Everything I do photographically is done digitally. This means that there are no rolls of film to buy, no processing equipment and chemicals to buy and no need to spend hours in a darkroom. Digital photography truly has virtually no overhead to the photographer and what overhead exists is more than compensated for in the prices I charge.
Reason Two: The Power of Choice Remains with the Customer
Other photographers force you to purchase packages that more often than not contain far more prints than you need and also include overpriced photo albums or other knickknacks. My offer simply gives you your photos on CD. You can then use that CD to print however many pictures you’d like from the digital files contained on it whenever you need them. In short, the power of choice remains with you.
--What kind of deposit do you require?
A: In order to secure my services for your wedding/commitment ceremony date I require a 50% deposit of the total cost. So, for a Phoenix-area wedding that would be $150; for the Arizona Package that would be $200. Once I receive your deposit that date is yours. The balance due would be required BEFORE your ceremony date.
--What does "6 hours" mean?
A: The 6-hour clock will start ticking when I arrive per your instructions, not necessarily when your ceremony starts. For example, if your ceremony starts at 6 p.m. but you ask me to show up, say, at 4 p.m. in order to shoot some portraits and preparatory shots, your 6 hours will begin at 4 p.m.
--What if I want you to stay longer than 6 hours?
A: I will bill you for additional hours (or portions thereof) at the following rates: the Phoenix-area Package, $40 an hour; the Arizona Package, $45 an hour.
--When will I receive the CD(s) with the ceremony photos?
A: I ask that you give me ten days to two weeks to allow for post processing on my computer.
--How do I get a copy of the contract?
A: The contracts can be downloaded using the links below. Each one is in PDF format. You can print the contract and mail it to me (e-mail me a request for my mailing address) along with a check for the deposit. Or you can pay via PayPal with your credit/debit card by clicking here.
